What kind of sessions do you offer?

Simply put, I photograph people. I offer sessions for any stage of life — couples, weddings, families, or headshots. I also offer intimate sessions for those entering the marital stage or wanting some quiet, one on one time captured with their honey.

Have a small business and want photos of you doing your thing? I offer backdrop sessions in a studio, or working sessions at your business so you can beautifully showcase your craft for your website, and social media.

 
 

Do you help with wedding day timelines?

YES. About a month or so before your wedding, we will discuss (over email, phone, or coffee) the general plan for the day. I will help you to set up a schedule for the day based off your ceremony time, the length of time you have me for photography coverage, and the expected weather (helloooo sunset photos!). I’ll make up a PDF version of the timeline once we’ve agreed it looks good, and send it your way so we are all on the same page.

 
 
 

Do you deliver the RAW images?

Long story short, I don’t send RAW image files..

Don’t worry though — I am not stingy with how many photos I do deliver! I make sure to choose all the best ones and edit each one with care. That way you can look back on that day and remember how amazing it was through a gorgeous collection of images without having to weed through all the blinking, missed focus, and duplicate shots. I gotchu.

Why do you charge what you charge?

A wedding photographer does so much more than just show up to your day and click a button. We plan with you those months leading up to your big day, creating timelines and answering questions. We spend the entire week before your wedding thinking about you, talking with your coordinator and preparing for it. We buy expensive gear to make sure your photos are beautiful and of the highest quality, and purchase software to make your booking process and downloading experience a cinch. We show up and put our very best creative foot forward. We see things that the common folk wouldn’t see on your day and capture it well. We are the coordinator the first half of your wedding day to make sure we are on time and get all those photos you’re so excited about having. We use our skill to determine what light will make you look the most beautiful. We stay up late with you and travel home at late hours in the night. We sort through thousands of images and edit each one by hand, putting our heart into each edit. We love you and support you and put our everything into your experience!

 

What about deposits?

A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your wedding date or photo session. Your final payment is due 1 week prior to your wedding. For sessions, the final payment is due day-of.

 

If there is a break in the schedule where photos don’t need to be taken, do we still pay you for that time?

Yes. As long as I am at your wedding, I’m on the clock. Rest assured though, even during “break times” I am actively working to get photos of details, candid photos of you and your guests, or taking a quick reset and refueling my body as we gear up for the next event in the day.
